STUDIO TIME: It's that time of year again...Echo Son is heading back to Smart Studios to record new music. Check back for samples.

WELCOME BRYNN: After a long search and countless auditions, Echo Son is pleased to announce that former Emisis lead singer Brynn Robinson will complete the line up. Brynn began singing in local bands in the Detroit area, but spent his college years away from music. Upon moving to Chicago in 2004 he joined Northwest Indiana hard rock band Emisis, and together the band saw success in the Emergenza music festival, heading to the Regional Finals--where Robinson won the Best Singer award of the competition. Brynn recently parted ways with the band in search of a new musical direction. Brynn's vocal style is reminiscent of early Chris Cornell combined with the dark smoothness of Ian Astbury... he perfectly complements the edgy sound and rhythmic undertones forged by the original members of Echo Son, and we look forward to unveiling our new material that is a perfect hybrid of all of our talents. Check back soon, as Echo Son is currently honing new songs before they head into the studio early 2008 to deliver fresh songs to greater Chicago music lovers starved for addictive, original music.
